Prevent downloads from showing in SITE search

Hello!

This was this touched on in another post here but I’m not sure if it was for google searches or site searches so I’ll clarify here.

I have a LOT of downloads on my site that are embedded in posts. The problem is when anyone does a search within my site using the search box it is filled with the downloads themselves (along with posts) when I only want the posts that they are embedded in showing up. Plus they can easily see my download stats.

I need a way I can prevent just the downloads from your plugin from showing up in searches.
