prevent credits in post excerpts

    Claude,

    Thank you for the plugin. My client is happy with how it works, but there is one problem. Setting the credit to appear before the content also makes it appear as the first line in post excerpts. So, for example, on a category index, the credit takes up the beginning of the excerpts, which we don’t want. We also don’t want the credit to appear after the content as a workaround.

    Do you know of a way to keep the credit in the actual post, but disable it in the excerpt?

    I think you have to options here, either you use actual excerpt (this happens because there’s no excerpt in your posts and WP take extracts from the content) or you use the “overlay” method to display the credits (in that case the credits only show when the picture is there, overlaid over the picture, so it won’t interfere with the text)
