Prevent copying of meta_keys on clone/split

    Hello

    I had a doubt when creating a new order by cloning or by division.

    The problem is that I need some of the meta_keys from the original order not to be copied to the new order. Is it possible to configure that?

    The exact example of what happens to me is that I use the package “WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips”. When I create an invoice for an order, a series of meta_keys are assigned to it. And if I later duplicate/split that order, the new order also has everything related to that invoice.

    @juanjobt I have checked it with WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips it is copying meta to cloned order as you can see in screenshot. Can you explain it how are you assigning meta to items?

    Yes, I send you a screenshot of my general configuration. Maybe it will help you. I am on a test site, but the problem can be reproduced the same as on my main site.

    I don’t know exactly how those meta_keys are being assigned to the original order, the package “PDF Invoices & Packing Slips” does it internally. If the original order already had an invoice generated, the cloned order will have the same invoice as the original. For this reason, being able to control which meta_keys are duplicated.
