Prevent Collapse with External Links

This seems to be a common issue, but I can’t seem to find a good example to follow. All I’m trying to do is include an external link inside one of the answers & prevent that link from also collapsing the answer when clicked. The user can still follow the link, but it’s just kind of awkward to have an interruption/pause where you have to wait for the accordion to collapse before the browser can go ahead & resolve the link. I’m hoping there’s an attribute I can just add to the link, but if a separate JavaScript function is necessary, I’d still find it worth adding. Any guidance appreciated.
