    Hi.
I noticed that if I open (by mistake) with the Classic Editor a page or post saved in Gutenberg that contain HTML blocks, I find tags <p> added to the text that should not be there.

    Suggestion:

    • add a setting that prevents opening (or warns and asks for confirmation).
    • highlight with different colors the elements saved in Gutenberg and those saved with the Classic Editor.

    Regards.

Are you asking about the Classic Editor plugin, or this plugin (Disable Gutenberg)?

    This plugin (Disable Gutenberg).

BTW, is there a way to know if an item was converted in Gutenberg or not before to open it?

Okay will take a closer look and see what’s possible for a future update.

That’s what I’ll need to investigate to implement a solution for your suggestions. As far as I know, it would be possible to simply grep the post content for any of the added Gutenberg HTML comments.

Either way, thank you for the feedback @uomomacchina.

Thanks a lot for your time and your useful plugin.
I am looking forward to testing the new features I have suggested. ??
