Prevent auto-notification of post author

  • Every time a post is saved, the post author is added back to the “Users to be notified list”, even if they have previously been removed or removed themselves.

    Is there a way to change this behaviour so that only those deliberately selected are notified?

    If a user has actively removed themselves from the list shouldn’t they stay removed?
