Prevent Attendees from Duplicate Registration?

Hello!

I’m having a frequent issue where attendees will sign up multiple times for the same free event, resulting in an inflated, duplicated attendee list.

Is there a setting where we can prevent people from signing up more than once? Maybe something to display a, “Hooray, you’re already registered!” message?

I’ve poked around the settings section but haven’t found anything like this.
