• Hi Joe,

I’ve activated Pretty Permalinks and resaved it both in the plugin and in the core settings several times, but my events will only actually *get* a pretty permalink link if I edit them.

So I essentially have to go manually into each event, edit it, and re-save it. Usually NBD, but my database is huge.

Is this a bug? Expected behavior? Fixable?

And I’ve regenerated the event occurrences table several times, as well.

Additional data: I’ve found that when I do hit an event and edit/save it, the new event loses the image and location.

Are you using the latest version of My Calendar? Are you using any caching plug-ins?

No caching plugins, and yep, latest version.

How long have you been using My Calendar? Is this something that’s an issue with *all* of your events, or only events that were created quite a long time ago?

What it sounds like is an issue for you is that the posts for the event haven’t been created; but My Calendar has created posts for a couple of years, and would create those posts even if you weren’t actually using the permalinks for display. All that really happens if you enable permalinks is that My Calendar will give that URL for events instead of the default My Calendar details URL, which is derived from your primary calendar address.

Regenerating the event occurrences table wouldn’t help with this issue; the URLs aren’t tied to event occurrences.

Can you submit a support request via the plug-in’s built in support form?

Ahh. Yeah, I heavily customized it years ago, and so never went through the trouble up updating only to recustomize it over again. I’m finally redesigning the entire site, so it seemed like a good time to start fresh.

So it’s fair to assume that my version was old enough not to be making posts.

Does that clarify enough to know whether I have any options, or do you still want me to go through the form?

Hmmm. That could definitely be relevant, but it’s probably workable. Yes, it would definitely be helpful if you submitted a support request, still.

There should be options, but I’ll have to think about it a bit.
