• I’ve deployed three WP sites on the rather new MediaTemple Premium WordPress service. It’s been great so far and seems to be a better deal than the competing services like WPEngine and all, but they do a lot of custom caching so they disabled access to optimization plugins like Super Cache or W3 Total Cache.

One of the sites I’m managing has many images and photo galleries, so I wanted to move all that to a CDN, like MaxCDN. This plugin is pretty much the only one that truly works and supports WP 4.0. Also, two of the sites I was talking about are localized, so the option to use a faster translation is great! Bonus points for mentioning useful plugins, like the Debug Bar. I am a web developer by trade, but I don’t interact with WordPress or PHP at all, so those were very helpful.

This is probably how plugins should be written: it does just a couple of things (localization improvements, image handling improvements and adds CDN support), but it does them well. Five stars.
