• I liked what I saw in the free version so I upgraded… Now that I’m deeper in, I’m finding a couple things missing which for whatever reason I thought would be there…

One big thing is that the “Page rules” are misleading in the sense that I thought I could control the ENTIRE WIDGET appearing or not. So please add that option. I want to be able to disable the ENTIRE thing from appearing at all on certain pages, but just “sub buttons”. Right now i can only control the individual custom buttons I add. I can’t hide social sharing buttons, nor the main big “thing” that sit down in the corner.

Next, I am a bit disappointed with the image options instead of icon. I thought I could upload/assign an image and have it be the SIZE that it is supposed to be, and be able to turn off the circle that’s under it. Instead, the image gets scaled down. Please consider more options and flexibility in this regard.

I guess those are the two main sticking points. I’m going to try to work around the limitations via custom CSS. Hopefully that’s possible.

    Thanks!

PS: In your page rules, the pulldown rule says “threat” instead of “treat”

    Hi LilGames!

Thank you very much for your valuable feedback! We will add your idea about the page rules to hide the full button menu on certain pages and we will add the images options you’d expect!

For now you can appoint multiple buttons to that page rule you have added, when there are no buttons to display, the menu should not be visible.

Right now we’re working on a brand new version of Buttonizer, version 2.0, which will add the option to create multiple ‘Button groups’, that means it should be easier to appoint rules to a whole menu (it will be possible to create multiple Buttonizer menus).

Since Buttonizer is getting rewritten, we will make sure to make a lot of options easier to use and we are expanding them. As you mentioned, the image options are not very great yet,

I hope we can release a beta soon, so you can test out the new functions of the new Buttonizer. You may like to register yourself to the beta? https://buttonizer.pro/launching-buttonizer-2-0-part-1/

If you need help with anything, you can contact us via the website or the contact page inside the plugin!

If you have additional feedback, you can add that to this topic ??

P.S. Thanks for finding the misspelling!

I just filed a support ticket through your site because the social sharing links don’t work for Twitter and Linkdin!

Also, you should consider showing a modal instead of opening a new browser window.

AND ALSO, the option to delay showing the button “Show after timeout?” doesn’t work. I have it checked on and set to 3000 ms but it appears right away.

I have the paid/premium version of Buttonizer.

    Hi LilGames!

I’ve responded to your ticket about the social sharing links with a solution!

About the showing a modal instead of opening a browser window is something we will considder. We will check if the social media are allowing this.

I checked your website, and the timout works for me. It may be because that functions supposed to be for visitors that are on your website for a longer amount of time. Buttonizer sets a session with the current time when your visitor first enters your website and checks after how long your visitor is browsing it. Check your website in incognito, it should work for the first time! If not, you can contact us through the mail ??

We will expand that function in a new version of Buttonizer.

Because of this is an premium function, we cannot talk about it further this on the forum of WordPress, you can email us for premium questions ??
