• This is a pretty sweet and ideal set up. My only complaint – if you can even call it that, is that the “Podcast page” doesn’t work. I get a 404 error. This was occurring in WP v3.6 and 3.6.1 for me. It isn’t really a big deal, though, because I haven’t a clue what this feature does since it hasn’t worked.

    Thanks for the rating ??

The podcast page is the page on your site that lists your podcast episodes. By default, this is https://example.com/?post_type=podcast, but if you specify a specific URL slug at the top of the setting screen (and then re-save your permalinks) then this will change to https://example.com/your-slug. If you only want to use your podcast for the RSS feed and don’t need to bother with displaying it on your site then you can ignore this side of things.

Hope that helps clarify it for you!

Oh ok, that’s what thought it should so. For some reason after going through those steps, it returns a 404 error. The https://example.com/?post_type=podcast link works though.

I do have wordpress contained in its own folder, but have it set so that navigating to the domain displays the page – not sure if that could be causing the conflict.
