Pretty Advanced Post Listing

Hi guys,

I’m working on a project and something has got me stumped.

I have a custom post type and I want to list all the posts on a single page organised by title (easy, I know). But I want them grouped by the first letter of the post title, for example all posts beginning with A, then all those beginning with B and so on. Which I think I can do.

However, these posts are also tagged using a custom taxonomy with an alias. I’d like to list these too in the same list but with a per slink to the main post detail page.

Using Actors as an example, I’d want both Will Ferrell (post) and Ron Burgundy & Frank Ricard (post terms) in the same list, but all linking to the Will Ferrell detail page if that makes sense.

Is this possible? Any help or suggestions would be great.
