Preserving changes to description.php

  • Hi,

    I’ve made some minor changes to the plugin (description.php) in order to show the brand banner before main content hook, with the brand logo (thumbnail) overlayed. If I update the plugin, this will be overwritten, and so I’m wondering if I can preserve the changes? I tried placing \brands-for-woocommerce\templates\description.php in my child theme, but it isn’t recognizing the file.

    Hello,

    You can create folder woocommerce-product_brand in your theme folder and place there template file, then it will be replaced in plugin with files from this folder.
