Preserve URL Paths ?

    I want all url’s to my old domain ( https://example.com/??? ) to redirect to it’s new domain’s welcome page ( https:/new.com/welcome ). It appears that the Advanced setting: “Preserve URL Paths” be set to NO. Is this correct?
