    Hello,

would you consider an option to preserve image metadata (especially color profiles) during compression process? Unfortunately, colour management across browsers is still inconsistent. There are browsers, like Firefox, that oversaturate colors when there are no profiles attached. In case of many color-sensitive images, results can be unacceptable.

For example, please take a look at this page with Chrome and Firefox. Chrome renders images correctly, while Firefox oversaturates them, making reds blown out and faces pink:

I’ve even installed a plugin that makes use of imagemagick library for rendering thumbnails (as WordPress by default also strips metadata from thumbs) to remedy color inconsistencies, but compressing images with LS Cache stripped the images of color profiles.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Awesome. Will I have to reprocess my images after this feature is implemented?

Yes. I would suggest not send the request before that feature released based on your requirement.
