Presentation page/home page

  • I’ve just instal the WordPress 4.4.1 and I have the same issue with any theme I choose : it doesn’t show me the home page template and I can not customize it. Instead, it forces the display of posts and press/blog widget area, on the home page.

    I haven’t had this issue before, with other wordpress versions.

    What should I do?

  • Goto Settings -> Reading -> Front page displays -> select “A static page” and choose your front page,

    Now you can see the assigned page in home page, not the list of posts.
