    Presales Question:

I’m looking for a very clean google maps integration and user experience, where I can style the map by removing all of google’s default “points of interest” (businesses, government locations, parks, landmarks, etc, that just clutter and draw attention away from the points I put on a map. I want a background map that is bare bones: streets, street names, city names /neighborhood names, and line drawings of buildings. Minimalist. All with minimalist or muted background colors so my location markers stand out.

My objective to show with dots the locations of all of my resellers around the U.S. If visitor hovers over a dot, a tooltip will pop up with the location’s logo, company and address info, tel#, etc, all info that I will enter in when I add the point. Very clean and simple. User can then click on dot to open a new browser window to visit the reseller’s website.

With this product, can I suppress display of all the distractions and get a user experience at least close to what I’ve described?

    Thank you

    Jeff

  • Hi Jeff,

Thank you so much for getting in touch, we really appreciate your time.

You should be able to disable the default Google Maps POI via Maps -> Map Editor -> Advanced Settings -> “Hide point of interest”. Simply enable this option and the POI should be hidden from your map.

For any further information, might I kindly ask you to get in touch with us directly via our website? One of our agents will be more than happy to step through the plugin with you to help achieve the desired result.

    Kindest Regards,
    Steven De Beer
