Hi, I tried to email you guys via the contact page on your site but I didn’t get any responses. That was a week or two ago so I thought I’d try again here.
I am interested in buying the entire bundle but I have a few questions. I have these two scenarios that I need for reports:

    1. I want to show reports only from a certain category in the front end.
    2. I want to show reports only from certain coupon codes in the front end.

Those posts/pages will be locked with their own passwords using whatever’s provided through WordPress/Woocommerce etc.

Is it possible to do these things with your plugins? Thanks.

  • Hey Derek,
Apologies that you never heard back from us; I don’t recall seeing an email for you, so maybe something glitched out on the contact form.

    To answer your question:
    1. The Frontend Reports plugin displays a report according to a preset that’s been set up in the Product Sales Report Pro plugin (the date range is overridden so that it’s current). So you can set up a report preset with product category filtering and display it in the front end. However, note that there is no option in the frontend to change the category; if you want multiple category-based reports, you’d need to create them all manually as presets and create a page for each.

    2. At this time, filtering by coupon code is not supported since they are stored as line items rather than order fields. However, if this is a requirement for your use case, we could look into adding that capability. Note that it would be the same as for categories: you’d need to define a preset for each coupon code you want to filter by, as there wouldn’t be a field in the frontend to define filtering criteria.

    Hey Derek,
Making it possible to filter by coupon code is something that I could see benefiting other users of the plugin, so it’s something that I would release publicly rather than making a custom modification to your plugin. In other words: no charge, and no issues with future updates. However, I’ll need to look into it and will get back to you when I have something.
