Question:1 How can I change Prerequisite text it’s showing like” Before starting this course you must complete the required prerequisite course” But I need to change kindly tell me how this is possible. I try Loco translate but it’s not working.
Loco translate would be the way to do it. We don’t have an option or setting for customizing this language. Are you certain you translated the right locale? I see a lot of people say “Loco isn’t working” and after a lot of debugging I almost always find something silly like the string wasn’t actually translated or even more commonly the WRONG LOCALE was translated. Could you please triple check all of your translations and settings and if you’re still having issues please copy your system report here (https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/) and then also upload a copy of your translations to dropbox or google drive and post a link here so I could take a look at them and see if I can recreate the issue.
I’ve less commonly seen issues where a loco translation set gets “corrupted” somehow and it just doesn’t work. After clearing the translations and starting again somehow it would start working again.
Question 2.
I have around 20 courses I want to give 1 or 2 for free and when visitor come and sign up they saw all other(Remaining Courses) but not access to those courses.
LifterLMS doesn’t really have a way to mark a course as “only for existing users”
If you make a course it displays on your course catalog (unless you use course visibility to hide it from the catalog — but in this scenario it won’t ever display, even for existing users).
You could use memberships and members-only access plans to mark the bulk of your courses as being available only to members. The course itself would still be visible but you could ensure the course content would only be accesible by someone in a membership(s)
Maybe that’ll work?
