prepopulate select fields from other form

Hi developer, your plugins is magnificent, but I need help, hope you can answer me or direct me to a right page.
I have 2 form, form one, only simple entry, like “meeting title” and “date/time”
second form is the detail of people joining the meeting, so they have to choose a meeting first (a select field) then, entry their info (name, phone, email etc).I have read the guide about pre-populate, but its not what I want, the meeting form, only entered by admin level user, common user only entry “present form”, and choose “meeting” select field from the meeting form…
So definitely not everyone can use form1–>pre populate form2 way… any help please, thank you

Update, from your doc, i found that name field can be populate easily from url, e.g text/name field prepopulate tag= “namanya” then the page url = https://mydomain.com/?namanya=agung, will fill the name field = agung…
Looking at the API, i think i can get field’s data entered in form1, but i havent found a way to pre populate options in a “select field”
Is there a way to populate like : https://mydomain.com?namanya=agung&choose=meeting1|meetin2|meeting3
Then user can choose which meeting he will join?
