Premium version – coupon in cart doesnt work

I bought the premium version specifically because it says it supports coupon code in the sidecart. when purchased however it does not work. when you add a coupon code into the coupon input field and press submit, the spinner goes round and round and gets stuck. you have to REFRESH the page and the enter it again for it to work.

please can you fix this issue
