Premium Required for Welcome Email?

Do I need to sign up for premium to set up an automatic welcome email in MailPoet 3? I can’t see any documentation of this except when I try to select the type of email to send, Welcome Email lists “get premium version!” instead of allowing me to create it. If so, this is very disappointing. I only have 20 subscribers so I do not want to pay for premium yet. In MailPoet 2 the welcome email was part of the free version so I’m confused as to why it’s no longer included and why it’s not better explained before users spend time setting up MailPoet 3 before discovering this.

Yes. Automated welcome emails are only available in MailPoet Premium plugin in this new version.
