A warning message has just started querying whether we have got ‘Advanced’ fraud tools enabled in Braintree.

We have enabled ‘Premium’ fraud tools (ie, NOT ‘Basic’ Fraud Tools) in our Braintree account, but the WooCommerce documentation is confusing (to me anyway!)?

    It states:
    ——————
“By default, Braintree includes Basic fraud verification tools. However, there are more sophisticated fraud prevention tools – Advanced or Kount Direct – which you can optionally enable through your Braintree account.”

“We recommend enabling Advanced fraud tools…”
    ——————

There is no mention of how we should configure if ‘Premium’ Fraud Protection is enabled? Should we configure the Plugin as ‘Basic’ or ‘Advanced’ (as only ‘Basic’, ‘Advanced’ or ‘Kount Direct’ options are available)?

Pls see a screenshot of our Braintree Fraud setting: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-Q9abKPmAlvM3yW7XeGSeOO8Tt3ypwtZ/view?usp=sharing

    Many thanks,
    Nick

    Hi there!

Should we configure the Plugin as ‘Basic’ or ‘Advanced’ (as only ‘Basic’, ‘Advanced’ or ‘Kount Direct’ options are available)?

I recommend the advanced option as recommended by the plugin public documentation.

    Thanks!
