• On our WP site I have a tabbed interface with different options for locating FAQs.
The default tab is the UFAQ Search.
On this particular page I also have a department view with a Toggle containing the specific UFAQ Categories I have set up.
    [mk_toggle title="Telecom" el_class="custom_toggle_ufaq"][ultimate-faqs include_category='telecom' ][/mk_toggle]
Opening the TELECOM Toggle and opening Change Name On Extension reveals the FAQ which includes Shortcode for a Contact 7 Form:

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=".vc_custom_1581620555145{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}"]If you need to change the name associated to your extension:

Complete??this form and provide the location code, the extension number, and the new name.?After the form is sent, a ticket will be created automatically.
    -OR-
Call the Help Desk at 702-799-3300, option 2, to provide this information and open a ticket.
    [contact-form-7 id="6488" title="Phone, voicemail password reset, extension change etc."][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

The Permalink for this FAQ is:
    https://support.ccsd.net/ufaqs/telecom-change-name-on-extension/

Going this route, everything displays properly.

The Problem comes in when that and most other faqs are accessed from the Search Tab.
In Search the FAQ shortcode is encapsulated by the [vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] being displayed on the page which also breaks Contact 7 form submissions located in those FAQs and results in the following page content(html) <html><head><style data-styled-components=""></style></head><body>0</body></html>

As I am using this to run the self help side of our helpdesk, I have hundreds of FAQs that will have to be checked and edited to make the search appear correctly and/or contain additional functionality and I’d rather not have to edit them all. ??

    Hi slate,

We can’t guarantee that other shortcodes will work within the body of an FAQ post. We’ve tested a few and have had some positive results, but we can make no guarantee than any shortcode will work as part of the body/answer text.

As for elements in the search being wrapped in other shortcodes, that sounds like maybe whatever page builder you are using is automatically doing that. That being said, please note that the FAQ search feature is actually part of the premium version of the plugin. The www.remarpro.com forums are meant for questions about the free version of this software. As such, please contact us directly by email or visit our website, and we’d be happy to assist you in using the premium version.
