    Hello there,

We are experiencing a problem that comes and goes with the Premium Blog widget, a problem that we first noticed yesterday:

Sometimes, the pagination option does not work- when pressing a number other than 1 in order to move to another Preium Blog page, the widget is stuck and the new page is not being presented.

We have multiple instances of the blog widget on our site, and this happens both with the On Side skin and the Classic skin. Strangely, the problem does not affect all of the instances simultaneously (most of the time), but only several of them at a time, and the widget keeps “recovering” and “relapsing”.

The page I linked to as an example had this problem on some occasions since yesterday, right now it is working properly. Many other pages of the site are structured similarly, with the only difference (widgetwise) being the category queried.

Any idea where is this coming from?

    Many thanks ahead,

    Michal

    Hi @noriktal

Hope you’re doing well today ??

I’m not sure what exactly can cause such things, but I susepct there might be a conflict with one of the installed plugins. So, could you please check the page with all plugins deactivated except Elementor and Premium Addons?

Hi and thanks for the immediate reply,

I will check the plugins conflict option, but as we have not installed any new plugins recently, I suspect that the problem originates elsewhere.

Might this have to do with not enough resources allocated to Elementor/Premium Addons by the hosting company?

    thanks,

    Michal

I don’t think that server config has something to do with this.

Well, could you please check if you have any console errors once you have this issue? You can check that by right click on your page -> Inspect Element, then navigate to Console tab.

    Hi,

I was waiting for the problem to come up again.

Now I see a premium blog page returning the following error in the console when trying to move to page 2:

“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()”.

    Hi @noriktal

We’re still trying to reproduce the issue on our end. May I ask which browser you are checking the page from?

    Hi @noriktal

Hope you’re doing well today ??

Well, I’ve checked things further, found that this issue usually happens due to some security restrictions within your server configuration.

So, could you please just contact your hosting server support team so they can put the necessary exception so pagination AJAX request can go through?

Please let me know if you still need any further assistance.

    Hello and thanks,

I have contaced my hosting service today following your suggestion. They checked the matter and said there are no restrictions placed on their end that would disallow such AJAX requests to pass normally.

Do you see a more detailed error message? All I can see in the console is a generic:

    “jquery.min.js?ver=3.5.1:2 – POST https://clodietalblog.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 403”

    Thanks,

    Hi Michal,

Please find below two screenshots showing the error on Firefox:

    Image #1

    Image #2

I believe this has nothing to do with the Javascript code that handles the request. It seems the request is blocked from your server itself.

Please provide a screenshot from your WP Dashboard -> Premium Addons for Elementor -> System Info tab.

    Hi @noriktal

I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but the attached screenshots don’t include “Active Plugins” section.

    Hi Michal,

Hope everything is going fine with you today ??

I strongly believe the issue has nothing to do with the AJAX JS code because referring to the error, the request is blocked by your server itself.

I suspect the issue is coming from one of the installed plugins. Could you please try to deactivate Redirection and WP Optimize plugins and let me know?

Hi and thanks for your reply,

I am waiting for the problem to recur in order to check a possible conflict with the plugins you suggested (today moving to other pages works fine).

In the meanwhile, I have a question: when a user loads a page with the Premium Blog, and that instance of the widget has several pages (for example, in the case of our homepage)- does that mean that all the posts in all the pages are automatically loaded, or only the posts in the first page of the widget (and only when a user asks for another page- the posts on that page are loaded)?

Many thanks for your patience and help,

    Michal

    Hi Michal,

Hope you’re doing well today ??

Actually, we rebuilt our Premium Blog widget in v4.0.0 for better speed and performance. Now, only the posts from the current page are loaded to improve page load speed while using the widget.

Hope you got the point, please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Regards
