Premium Ajax Add to Cart

  • Would your premium version with the ajax add to cart redirect function also work in conjunction with this:

    Rather would it disable this and just perform the redirect? That is what I’m after. I need a way to have a few products in the site redirect rather than ajax add to cart popup. There is no filter for product types for either plugin but this appears to provide that if it works with that. I would buy premium just need to know if it will work. Thanks!

    Hi, there! The premium WC-Redirects plugin will trigger the redirect on an AJAX add-to-cart. However, the popup plugin opens a popup on the same event as the redirect is triggered, which means the popup will likely still appear, at least until the redirect occurs.

    That said, I think it would be a good addition to my plugin to add some custom events to the redirect script, which could be used for hiding the popup as soon as it’s launched. If you decide to purchase, send me a message through the site, and I can help you get this implemented.

    Actually the popup for that specific type of product (appointable product type) doesn’t really work anyways. It seems to break and then add 2 items to the cart. Was trying to sort out a way to disable it for specific product cat but this may achieve the same thing… so trying to sort that out but I think this maybe a perfect solution for us… I just want appointable products to do the old school refresh of the page and ignore the ajax function which I feel like the premium plugin may do….

    Just noodling a few things then I’ll likely grab the premium version and give it a try.
