Premature end of script headers and timeout errors
-
Hi Guys,
Just trying your backup plugin for the first time today. This particular site is HUGE with tens of thousands of posts and I’m hoping the ability to split the backup in segments will work gracefully (as BackupBuddy is struggling with the 1+GB size).I’ve tried setting the split archives at the default 400MB and also at 200MB. It ran a bit better and faster at 200MB setting.
Both backups showed one set of files as (Not finished) – so it doesn’t appear to be actually completing the backup.
In the server error logs I found several errors:
— Premature end of script headers: cgi_wrapper, referer: https://example.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=updraftplus
— Premature end of script headers: cgi_wrapper, referer: https://example.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron=1494360497.5577349662780761718750
— Timeout waiting for output from CGI script /var/www/cgi-bin/cgi_wrapper/cgi_wrapper, referer: https://example.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=updraftplus
— Script timed out before returning headers: cgi_wrapper, referer: https://example.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=updraftplus
There was nothing listed in the debug log – just the server error log.
Can you please advise what I need to do to remedy these error issues on my server so your plugin can run correctly?
Thank you!
LL
