Preloaded fonts getting loaded again later / does not detect one font

  • Hi there,

    I started to use OMGF but have some issues, maybe my skills are simply not sufficient.

    It works nicely overall and in GT Metrix I can see that most fonts are preloaded and hosted locally, everything is fast – great!

    BUT… Two fonts which appear successfully in the preload, are loaded again later with blocking time, although in my settings I preload all fonts available. On top of that, there is “fontello” which might come from my theme and I have no clue where it is used but I cannot select it for preload.

    Using WP Rocket but flushed the cache of course.

    Anybody can help with that?

    I’m afraid this might be a bug! When you look at the full URL, the paths differ!

    I’ll release a fix for this ASAP!

    The fontello file seems to be an icon pack which is included with your theme. OMGF solely supports Google Fonts, that’s why it doesn’t detect it.

    You can copy that URL and preload it using WP Rocket, I believe!

    Hi there,

    was this fixed with the latest update? I installed it and still have the issue and the font is getting loaded twice… Anything I can do?

    I have the fix ready. However, I have a couple of things to do before the next release.

    It’s on its way though!
