When I click the “preload now” button, it starts with a pop up “an unexpected response was received”; but when I reload the page, preloading is in progress. Then it counts to a number and does not add urls any more, but still shows the cancel button.

How may I rectify this; I have been waiting for long (10 minutes) with no additional counts.

  • @branhampaul Could you send me a copy of your server’s PHP Error log?
You can find this log through your web hosting control panel (typically cPanel). If you are unsure where to find the PHP Error log, you can ask your hosts to provide it.

You can copy and paste the logs here https://pastebin.com and share the link with us.

@branhampaul The logs didn’t help much, Could you please try to purge the cache and then try to preload the urls and check if it works?

I have 100% the same issue and use “WP-Optimize Premium 3.2.9” on WP 6.0.2. I tried pretty much everything: resetting settings, reinstalling, different permutations of schedule duration, and cache lifespan, purge cache, etc, etc.

Currently, the Preload staus says “14 out of 227 URLs preloaded”. Last time it got stuck at 10. The time before, it once got to 20! It shows “Cancel” button and the status line changes on occasional basis but it stays stuck at the same level of 14 of 227…

    What is wrong?

PS. I certainly run a different site than @branhampaul ??
