    Hi.
I have recently started using WP-Optimize and was exited at the results. However I have been unable to preload cache and this has been affecting load times for pages. I receive the following error when trying to preload:
” An unexpected response was received.”
and this appears in the console:
WebSocket connection to ‘wss://public-api.wordpress.com/pinghub/wpcom/me/newest-note-data’ failed: Error during WebSocket handshake: Unexpected response code: 403

Please note that I am using cloudflare cdn. I had enabled cloudflare developer mode but still experienced this problem.
    I would appreciate your assistance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • @yahyabassa The 403 Forbidden error is an HTTP status code which means that accessing the page or resource you were trying to reach is absolutely forbidden for some reason.

Can you please try to disable Cloudflare and check if it helps to fix the issue?

    Thanks,
    Harshad

I get that same error (haven’t checked console though). But when I click Preload a second time, it works.
