Preformatted text loses formatting after line break

  • If you have a series of code that you would like displayed with preformatted text and there is a line break in the middle, all of that preformatted text will lose its preformatting as soon as you select “edit with Elementor”, even if you have never edited with WordPress’ default editor.

    Have you tried inserting your code via our HTML widget, within Elementor editor?

    HTML widget works fine but then you cannot do global formatting changes the way you can with preformatted text.

    I should clarify that the formatting is lost when you click into the text editor block where the preformatted text lives, not when you select “edit with Elementor”.
