Prefill fields with profile information

Hello,
is there a possibility to fetch default field values from database? I would like to have the basic fields like Name, Email, etc. prefilled from the profile info of a logged in user (as only logged in users can get to the form anyway)
I only found fetching query strings from URL, however, that’s not what I need.

The feature is there, you have to enable it.
Go to your form settings, edit your form, click in the Fields tab, find the Name field, click Show Details, then check this setting: Enable auto form fill. Click Save Changes.It will fill in Name and Email of logged in (non-admin) users.
