    Hi,

I’ve marked two cookies as Preferences on the wizard->cookie description page, but there is no Preferences consent on the cookie banner. Why would this be?

    Thanks

    Alex

    Hi @sdesign-1,

There is only a relatively small portion of Cookies that realistically classify as Preference cookies. Which cookies does it concern exactly? That would allow us to check how these are currently categorized in CookieDatabase.

Is your Cookie Policy document still in Sync with CookieDatabase? I noticed that some of the entries seem to be manually inserted.

If you would want to add an extra category to the banner, you can do so by enabling Tag Manager in the Complianz Wizard. This will add a new section under Complianz > Cookie Banner where you can add Custom categories. The scripts for these custom categories can be fired with Tag Manager by using “cmplz_event_0, cmplz_event_1…” and so forth. Details here: https://complianz.io/definitive-guide-to-tag-manager-and-complianz/

    Hope it helps.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

Thanks for the advice. I have thought about and I have moved the two cookies to the Functional category.

Regarding the cookies I’ve added manually. These are not being picked up by the scan so I’ve added the service and cookies myself. I already posted in another thread to request these be added to the cookie database.

    Hi @sdesign-1,

The Cookes mentioned in that thread have already been added to CookieDatabase, see this link for example: https://cookiedatabase.org/cookie/asgaros-forum/asgarosforum_unique_id/

It could be that some of these cookies are only set on specific interactions, and might not instantly show up in a Cookie Scan as a result.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
