predicted matches – after 90 or ET?

I think it’s up to your own rules because you add the final actual score manually.

ok good point. if i want result after 90 though how would I put a draw down in the knockout stages as the system wont know how to calculate which teams moves onto next round so I presume I can only enter results after ET?

The system will not calculate which team moves to the next round. That is always a manual change.

I personally always used the end result after ET. Which means a game in the finals can end up in draw that players would have to predict. I never used the penalty shoot out outcome.
