    Hi
I’m trying to put my first calculator together (loving it btw!).

I’m a bit stuck on one point. I’d like to make the predefined value = the value of a hidden calculated field.
I’ve tried adding the fieldname to the predefined value box but it doesn’t pull anything across.
While it’s in build stage I’ve unhidden the fields so I know they are already calculated.
    What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
    Angela

    Hello @amdev1,

I’m sorry, I’m not sure about your question. Please, send me the URL to the page where form is, and indicate the fields’ names.

    Best regards.

    Hi

    https://mowgli-adventures.com/test-calc/

    Click MPPT first.

I want the Open-Circuit Voltage (Voc)* & Short-Circuit Current (Isc)* to have a predefined value of the Assumed Voc & assumed ISC in the fieldset at the bottom.

The intention being if the user doesn’t know exact figures, they can use these as defaults.

    Thanks for the quick turnaround.

    Hello @amdev1

You have defined the fieldname9 field to use as its default value, the value of the fieldname27 field. So, the fieldname27 field should be moved to the beginning.

Please, move the fieldname27 field just below the form’s title. Furthermore, if you want the fieldname9 field to use the value of the fieldname27 as the default value, and not as a placeholder, you should untick the checkbox: “Use predefined value as placeholder” in the settings of the fieldname9 field.

    Best regards.
