PREC Problem

    Hello again.

    I use PREC to display output with 2 decimal places. No problem there.

    However, I have another equation field that uses this same PREC formatted result and, unfortunately, to get an accurate output I can’t use PREC for the equation.

    Is there a way to only apply PREC for display purposes and exclude it for another calculation?

    No, I’m sorry, the field’s value would be the equation’s result.

    The alternative would be to insert an additional calculated field in the form configured as hidden (for example, the fieldname1). It would contain the equation without PREC operation. And the visible field with the equation PREC(fieldname1,2)

    The second field would not be used in other equations.
