Pre/auto-select radiobox, restricting search options, and removing results box

    Hi,

    I’m playing around with this plugin and loving it. I’m considering upgrading to the paid version. However, I wanted to know whether the following are possible (in either version):

    1. Is it possible to pre-select a radiobox option? I need one to be selected by default. After, people can change it to a different option, but if people start a search while none of the radioboxes are active, the results won’t be accurate.

    (I can explain my situation in case you can think of a different solution, but for now, take my word on this.)

    2. Taxonomy A might have five options; taxonomy B might have nine. Right now, if people select from taxonomy nine, there might be so little overlap that the odds are good that if they add a category B option, there will be zero search results. I’d like to prevent disappointment/frequent “sorry, no result” pages; is it possible to do something about this, so that once smething from taxonomy A is selected, people will see which options from taxonomy B will actually produce results? For example, show a (0) behind certain options, or have those grayed out so they can’t be selected?

    3. I’d like to remove the “showing X results out of X posts” box. I can do so by fiddling in the code myself, but I wanted to suggest it as an option to include in the settings.

    Is it possible to pre-select a radiobox option?

    Unfortunatly, there is no such option in the plugin. Its a nice idea and I have thought about this since quite a while. But for now, this feature won’t make it into the plugin, sorry.

    I’d like to remove the “showing X results out of X posts” box

    This is an option in the PRO version.
