pre selected variations via url no longer working

The default behaviour of woocommerce for urls containing the attribute parameters does not work with the latest version of this swatches plugin
links such as: https://example.com/shop/widget?attribute_color=red
you did fix it for me on my dev site back on version 1.0.76 but it be nice to see this in the latest updated version too
