Pre-select dates when loading calendar?

Hi,

Is there a way to preselect dates when loading the calendar?
I’ve got the calendar on a frontpage, with all sections hidden except the calendar itself. I’d like to offer a user the ability to select dates and click a ‘book now’ button which takes them to the main booking page. The booking page should preselect the dates already set on the front page..

Does the calendar offer a way to programmatically set selected dates? I’ll be able to work it out from there.
