Pre Sales Questions – Multiple User Profiles

    Hi Peepso Peeps

    I have some questions please, keen to buy, just want to know if your product will work for my needs.

    I am building a model directory / community platform and online shop.

    The main users will be Model Agents and the Public,. Public can buy fashion items and view and discuss the models.
    Agents can buy a Model Profile Page, to promote and discuss their models on the site.

    Core Strusture
    Public Pages= standard website pages, how it works etc, linking to…
    Online Shop = Buy Fashion Items, or Buy a Model Profile Page
    Community = Public Directory and Model Directory, Private and Public Groups.

    User Roles required.
    A new Customer/Agent will get a customer profile when they buy a Model Profile Page. This new Customer/Agent will also be the administrator of the Model’s Profile and Community page ( The model will never edit their own profile )

    A Customer/Agent will also have a Public Profile of his/her own.

    It will be great if their login information can be shared, but they need to be able to edit the 3 profile pages. Customer, Model and Public

    A Models’ Profile or Public Page must be able to be customized to look different than the Public Pages.

    In a nutshell ??

    Final Questions

    • I am using Avada theme, is this compatible ?
    • How many Databases do i require can I run all 3 “features” of 1?

    Hello,

    PeepSo does not have multiple profile types. Nor is it a ecommerce platform. It’s responsible for social interactions. PeepSo does have some integrations with 3rd party plugins that could make the above happen like: Paid Memberships Pro. With that and PMP Roles and PeepSo VIP plugin and User Limits plugin you could be able to come close to that setup. Not perfect, though.

    You can’t achieve what you’re describing above without custom integrations and custom code.

    On a side note, PeepSo does work well with Avada theme.

    PeepSo is just a plugin for WordPress. It does not require individual database and you can use as many other plugins as you want. It is also compatible with Avada theme.

    Now, regarding your questions, public pages of WordPress work exactly how you expect them to work. PeepSo does not interfere with that. You can install any other online shop plugin to sell your items, you can even set it up to require purchase “membership” before users can have a profile, but you will need third-party plugins like Woocommerce or paid memberships pro for that.

    Every user registered in the WP Admin -> Users will get the PeepSo profile but not all of them can be administrators of the community. That’s way too much control for the standard user.
    Login information sharing is not necessary. PeepSo uses WP user object same like any other plugin.

    And finally, there is no option to customize individual profile pages.
