Pre-Sales Questions

  • We are opening a salon with 20 staff and will need scheduling for multiple stylists that is DEAD simple.

    1. Is there a way to display the Calendar View that will automatically limit to one particular Staff?

    2. Is there a way to -view- a Staff page? ie. we want visitors to be able to see a formatted Staff Directory and were hoping to put bio information in each Staff record.

    3. Is there a way to send appt. reminders to clients perhaps 24 hrs before an appt?

    4. Is there a way to send periodic follow-up e-mails to clients (eg. every 2 months.)

    5. Last but not least… We would very much prefer that Staff NOT be anywhere in the WP Admin—we want their interaction to look like the rest of the site. Is it possible to theme -all- aspects of their calendar to match our site theme? Or must they access their calendar from within the WP Admin? Ideally, we would like them to be able to view their Staff page and then click a button to view their own appointments.

    Ans. 1. Staff could login and view it’s own appointment on calendar view.

    Q. 2. Is there a way to -view- a Staff page? ie. we want visitors to be able to see a formatted Staff Directory and were hoping to put bio information in each Staff record.
    Ans. 2. We could customized(create new template page) a theme template to display all staff bio.

    Q. 3. Is there a way to send appt. reminders to clients perhaps 24hrs before an appt?
    Ans. 3. Premium version support Reminder Feature (send reminder 1/2/3 Day before).

    Q. 4. Is there a way to send periodic follow-up e-mails to clients (eg. every 2 months.)
    Ans. 4. This feature not available at present, but we can add this feature easily in premium system.

    Ans. 5. System allows staff member to login in WP admin area but staff can accessible its Appointment Calendar & profile page and could updates profile only.

    Hello Frank,

    Q1. What we want is for clients to be able to visit a particular page with a picture of a Staff person and then make an appointment with -that- person. The Staff ID should be pre-selected and the choice of times/services be limited to only that person. We will need a separate page for each Staff person. My hope was that the APCAL shortcode had parameters for Staff ID.

    Also: What are the options for localization (spellings) and CSS? I’m sure you realise that there are -numerous- spelling mistakes in the product. We also would need to be able to customise the styles to fit our own company theme.

    Also: Is there a way to book an appointment that does NOT require ‘approval’? None of our staff will need that. Also, the text sent to clients will be confusing so we need to be able to change that. Clients will not know whether their appointment is ‘real’ or not.
