    Hello
    – I would like to know how to use the plugin with Visual Composer.
I need to be able to insert and delete shortcodes of the visual composer because the pages are dynamic in content and structure and I do not know how to wrap multiple blocks of Visual Composer within a single [restricted]
    – How to make content available only to 8 users, insert the name of the users to whom we want to make the content available instead of being done by a level of access?
    Thank you

    Hi Capinha,

You could try creating a text block in the Visual Composer that comes before the content you want to restrict and put the [restricted] shortcode in that text block. Then you can add another text block after the content you want to restrict and put the [/restricted] shortcode in that text block.

For the 8 users restriction, you could create a unique level just for those users. Alternatively, you could create a new unique custom field for just those users, and then use the field_name and field_value attributes in the [restricted] shortcode to limit the content to those users.

    Hello,
I have already tried to create a restricted content by doing the way you described it, but when I save the page, the [row] [column], etc., are added at the beginning and at the end, and then the [/ restricted] stops act as the closure of the restricted content, and is now shown as normal text.
There could be a more correct method of doing it that I had not found, but will this be the only way to do it?
    Best Regards

    Hi Capinha,

Our method was just a suggestion. We don’t know of a more correct way of doing it than this. I’m not sure why the Visual Composer wouldn’t render the shortcode properly if you’ve put it in a text block.

You could also try using the “FEUP Level” setting in the “Front-End Users” box found at the top right of the page edit screen, if you’d like to restrict all the content on a page.
