    RE: compatibility with Divi Builder

Yes, embed the directory on the page using the [connection] shortcode. Here’s a link to a tutorial on how to add shortcodes in Divi:

RE: Can Connections be integrated using shortcodes to populate different levels of memberships?

Sorry, no, nothing built into Connections to accomplish this “out-of-the-box”. This could be achieved by creating a custom template to render different content based on a “level” or “membership”.

RE: Will I need a separate plugin for “membership? to provide access to free or paying members?

Yes, because Connections itself does not create or manage memberships.

RE: Can I recreate this form using your plugin?

Sorry, no, Connections does not have a “form builder” feature. However, the Pro Pack bundle does include a Gravity Forms Connector addon.

Others have used this to build membership workflows similar to:

They used Gravity Forms to build the form with conditional fields for levels, displaying the appropriate fields, and attach the Connections Feed to the form to create the directory entry.

I hope I have answered your questions thoroughly! Please let me know.

Thanks for your quick reply Steven.

Can you clarify your comment ” This could be achieved by creating a custom template to render different content based on a “level” or “membership”.”

Do you mean you can build the custom template or can we do it? What is required?

All current templates have two views. One for the directory list/results view and one for the detail/profile entry view. Based on the demo links you provided, you would need a template that changes its detail/profile view based on the “level” or “membership” status.

RE: Do you mean you can build the custom template or can we do it?

Either. I am available for custom development. If that interests you, then don’t hesitate to get in touch with me via the contact link at the very bottom of the following page:

I hope this clarifies everything; please let me know.

Thanks Steven. Message sent via the contact form on your site.
