    1) Is there a way to automate the CSV export?
    2) Is there a way to select where to save the CSV, possibly to a remote SFTP destination?
    3) Is it possible to save abandoned carts as new orders with a specific status, like “Abandoned …”

    Hi @ivanom

    Thanks for reaching out.
    1) At the moment CSV Export is intended to be used as a manual function for exporting data whenever needed. Why would you require automated export?
    2) I’m afraid it is not possible at the moment to choose a different location to save the file other than your computer.
    3) It might be possible with additional development, but it might be confusing for other CartBounty users.

If you don’t mind me asking – what is it that you are working on and what is your plan? ??

    Hi Nauriskolats,

I need to automate abandoned carts info export to a CRM system (Sales Force).
We are already moving other data (orders, products…) via CSV files, so this seems to be the better choice at this time.
We also need to put this CSV on a remote SFTP server but we can do that via script.

Any idea on how to get this work?

Ok, I see what you are looking to do.
I guess it would take some custom development to take care that the exported CSV is generated and placed into some directory on the store. It would also mean that there would have to be some sort of protection in place so that the file is not accessible by anyone else.
I will definitely add this to our feature requests and we can discuss if this is something we can add into our next development sprint.

Would Sales Force be able to use an API to request abandoned cart data if we would offer API access to CartBounty carts?

    Thanks,
    Nauris

@nauriskolats Sorry, for highjacking this thread but we are also using Salesforce Sales Cloud and also Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and definitely would like to get abandoned cart data through API (or even have a zapier type of syncing feature). There is another Abandoned Cart plugin by Tyche Softwares with Salesforce Sync, but the plugin is way too heavy for our use.

    Hi @rantakemisti
Thank for reaching out. At the moment we are working on a new recovery solution and I’m guessing it will take a couple of weeks to complete testing and roll it out. But after that we could take a look at ways to integrate with Salesforce or better yet Zapier.
I’m adding this to our current wish list.

Let me know if you have any additional ideas! ??

Thanks for the fast reply! I sent you a couple of presale questions through your website’s form.
