• I have been trying to contact PaidMembershipsPro through their site, both with the contact form for pre-sales questions and customization requests and through the phone number provided on that same contact page.

    I submitted the contact form several days ago with a request for a quote on a custom install of their plugin with no response as of yet.

    I have also left 2 voicemails at the number provided over the last week.
    I have received no response to these calls either.

    Am I wasting my time here trying to get ahold of these guys or even considering using this plugin for my site?

    They give he plugin away but want payment for support. If this is a reflection of how responsive they are to support requests, I’m beginning to feel that I would be wasting my money and would be better off looking for another solution.

    Does anyone, even one of the seemingly elusive developers, have any feedback on these matters?

    Does anyone know if the developers actually perform custom installs and customizations for a fee as their website states?

    Id really like to talk to someone about the customization request and figure out if what I want is possible. You would think the developers would want this custom work as they provide a contact form to request this extra work.

    Any insight anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    The plugin has gotten very popular, and the truth is that we’ve already taken on as many of the custom projects as we can at the moment. I will dig up your email (found it) and get you a reply. It’s likely that we don’t have the capacity to do the work for you, but I will do my best to give you some direction and possibly help you find someone who can help. Or if your schedule allows it, we can schedule work for you at a later date.

    We’ve disabled the “Do it For Me” plan on our website, and we’re trying our best to find other developers who are capable of doing PMPro customization work and promote them through our website to make it easier to get custom help like you and others need. It’s difficult because there is a lot of demand for WordPress developers and in general not enough developers out there for all the work.

    Yes we do. We’ve done custom installs for dozens of people, and like I said we’re busy delivering for our current customers.

    For what it’s worth, we reply to most posts in our member forums within 24 hours Monday-Friday. If you have a question about PMPro, and don’t necessarily need hands on help, it’s the best way to get a quick answer and help.
