Pre-sale question: Need only a portion of it’s functionality

Hi

I have a client who sells products from different vendors, the clients wishes to continue to add products and manage everything in the store by herself. Clients wish is to have a dashboard for the vendors, where they could see how their products (assigned to a vendor with a product code or whatever) are selling etc – this would basically be all. Is it possible this way or is it too over-kill to buy this plugin for this purpose? Maybe you could direct me to a solution that would be more simple and would meet those requirements?
