    Does the pro version allow for frontend site downloads to public? People who are not logged in. Just display and let them download with being able to delete.

    Delete option is not available for public users but registered and logged in users. And almost all features are available in basic version for public usage, advanced vers has some extra check boxes mentioned on the settings page.

    I have explained this reason in another forum thread for you, a simple way to find the issue is, deactivate a plugin which is doubtful and then try the same action, if things work then report to the plugin author else the problem is not related to the plugin you have doubts on.
