Pre-orders for digital downloads

    How could this plugin effectively handle pre-orders for digital download files when the link isn’t added to the product yet? Would the download permission need to be added to every single order individually?

    Hi @_beatrice_

    The download links are hidden until the order is set to complete.
    So, when the order goes to complete status, the download link will be visible.

    It seems when credit cards process the order it is auto set to ‘complete’ and therefore send the links. What settings help achieve adding the link after? And how are customers notified the link is now available in their dashboard?
