Pre Order Extension Question

I was wondering if this extension is capable of a certain feature.

I want to sell hats. The original price will be for $30 a piece, but while I am getting the inventory in, I was wondering if I could use this extension to pre-order them for $5, and when the inventory is here and they are about to be shipped charge the additional $25. This will be very clearly laid out on the website.

As of now I am losing a lot of sales because I don’t have this function. If this extension is capable of doing this please let me know. Also, if there is another way that I could do this I am open to any suggestions. Thank you.
