i see in the html source for the demo page that img width, height and alt attribs are missing – are there plans to incorporate these?

it’s obvious allot of work went into this slider and i like the fact that the html seems to be valid, but the missing image dimensions, even though they are not really needed in a container whose dimensions are specified, kills the GTmetrix score

The alt tag is supported, you can specify it when you add or modify an image. The width and the height attributes will probably not be supported as the dimensions are dinamically calculated from the plugin for responsiveness purposes.

without the image height/width attributes, the html will not validate

i understand the dimensions are dynamic, but the original size of the images are still supposed to be present – technically, the slider is not resizing the images – it is scaling them

    just sayin’ ??

Are you sure about validation? I’ve just checked the demo page and everything seems ok (https://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Ffabiorino1.altervista.org%2Fprojects%2Fcrellyslider%2F)

i misspoke in my 2nd post, but not the 1st – the html always validated, but GTmetrix > PageSpeed (not the w3c validator) hammers the grade when height/width attributes are missing

might want to see this too though

if it were me though, and if it were easy to do, i’d be on the safe side and include those attribs even though they are not strictly needed
